Tjukayirla Roadhouse – Accommodation

Tjukayirla Roadhouse offers several levels of accommodation, from our tidy units to basic camping facilities.

Tjukayirla Rooms

The En-suite Queen – (sleeps max 2, 1 Q Bed)
En-suite rooms have microwave, TV, fridge, air con & coffee / tea making facilities.
The “Hilton Room” – (Sleeps max 2, 1 Q bed)
Self-contained room with Queen bed, kitchenette with stove, Microwave, pots, pans and dishes, air con, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and use of the ablution block (approx. 20 metres away).
The “Hilton West” – (Sleeps max 3, Double/bunk)
Self contained room with 1 x double bed, 1 x bunk bed on top, kitchenette with stove, Microwave, pots, pans and dishes, air con, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and use of the ablution block (approx. 20 metres away).
Budget Room – (sleeps max 2)
2 Budget Rooms are available. Both rooms are twin share with 2 x single beds, air con and linen provided. Includes use of the Camp Kitchen, Billabong Common Room (with TV) and ablution blocks, all within 20 metres of the rooms.
Budget Deluxe (sleeps max 1)
Two delux budget rooms available with 1 x King Single bed, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge, air con. Includes use of the Billabong Common room (with TV, comfy chairs and coffee/tea making facilities) and ablution block, all within 20 metres of the room.
Also have porta cot available upon request (extra cost may apply)

All rooms have common BBQ and outdoor areas for your use and you are also encouraged to make use of any of our public areas including fire pits, billabong tv room or camp kitchen

Fire-pits and fire drums located through-out the campsite.
24 hr power available powered by genset. This can be noisy if you are not used to it. Please bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to the generator hum.
Pets welcome, provided they are on a leash and under control at all times. Please keep your pooches in your camping area and restrained, for their safety.

Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm (WST)
Saturday and Sunday - 9:00am to 3:00pm (WST)
Public Holidays - 9:00am to 12:00 noon (WST)*

* Please note that none of the roadhouses across the Great Central Rd are open in the evenings. We advise checking the opening hours of each roadhouse prior to travel, especially if travelling on a public holiday.

Permit Information

To enter the Ngaanyatjarra Lands visitors require an entry permit. It is also necessary to have a transit permit when travelling through the Lands by road.
